There are 2 versions of Dattero: Espresso for Espresso machine use and Filter/Plunger for using filter/percolator machines or plunger.
Another option to make Dattero coffee is Turkish style-cooking the coffee with water, using 1 tablespoon of Dattero per 1 cup of water, over a gas stove on a low heat until boiling.
You can extract Dattero espresso shots for making Dattero smoothies, ice coffee, milkshakes, frappes and Espresso Martini cocktails.

Make Dattero coffee exactly as you would make any other coffee (flat white, cappuccino, latte, and so on).Fill the shot basket with Dattero espresso (you can extract a single or double shot) and you know the rest … simple! The secret of the Dattero Crema is: after you have finished extracting the shot, extract again for another few seconds in order to get the Dattero Crema.
Making Dattero Espresso in Espresso machines at home
Use the espresso machine as instructed in the machine manual, using 14–18 grams of Dattero espresso per cup, more or less according to taste.Make Dattero espresso either with frothed milk or without, add sugar if desired.
Making Dattero for Filter/Plunger use
Add to the Plunger/Percolator one tablespoon of Dattero per cup, more or less according to taste; add the required cups of boiled water. Gently stir. If desired, add milk and sugar. For Filter machines or dripolators use as instructed in the machine manual,using one tablespoon of Dattero per cup,more or less according to taste.
Storage Instructions For Espresso & Filter/Plunger
Please keep Dattero in an air tight container, or if you keep it in its original package, reseal the bag with a clip after opening in order to prevent oxidation. Store Dattero in the same way you store coffee—in a dry place, away from direct sunlight, at room temperature, and not in the fridge.
